* As I began my MBA classes, I shelled out about $250 for textbooks.

* Food expenditures seem to be on the rise, totally about $450 this month.

* Looking forward to big bonus in February, probably enough to wipe out CC3 and part of CC1. Also, the federal tax refund would help as well.

    They say housing and car payments are our biggest expenses. Once your car is paid off. You may want to get liability insurance or select the highest deductible to lower your car insurance. You are doing good do far !

    You're doing a great job keeping track of your expenses! I agree, monthly grocery bills have a way of creeping up unexpectedly. There's so many just in my town that it's all too convenient to stop at one on the way home from work.

    Regarding your comment, ahhh, now that "diamond shamrock" charge on my credit card bill makes sense. I was pretty surprised when all the Mobils started changing names to Valero; I thought Mobil was this gigantic company, but I also admit to not knowing about the gasoline/oil business.
